Existere

When you focus on a thought

you invest energy in it.

This not only crystallizes its form

but binds its life to your own.

.

We are always creating.

We are not always aware.

.

Take care in what you bring into the world.

Troubled Waters

It’s preferable not to burn bridges,

but some are best not crossed for awhile.

When viewed from a distance,

the traffic they carry

will tell whether the road ahead is safe.

Down the tracks

There aint no ending of the line, no final point somewhere in time.

There’s  just the stations on the way, sometimes we stop but we don’t stay.

And we’re all laying down the tracks, with our burdens on our backs.

Oh can you hear, can you hear her blow that misty morning horn?

There’s a railroad running through my soul

and a slow train coming…

Temet Nosce

Deep inside we already know what it is we’re looking for

and that finding it begins by turning inward and looking at ourselves.

This begins by reflecting upon our lives and works.

Everyone is still for at least one moment at some point in their lives,

not just outwardly but inwardly as well

and upon approaching the threshold of truth,

we often see a glimpse of something about ourselves that we do not like and so we look away.

Seeing means acknowledging, acknowledging means taking responsibility,

responsibility means  action, action means change…

and change is hard.

This is why so many of us are afraid to be still.

If only we would look further and pierce the veil.

The Final Harbor

“Where lies the final harbor, whence we unmoor no more?

In what rapt ether sails the world, of which the weariest will never weary?

Where is the foundling’s father hidden?

Our souls are like those orphans whose unwedded mothers die in bearing them:

the secret of our paternity lies in their grave, and we must there to learn it.”

‘Amathafa’ – The Plains

We’re born of the wind, clothed by the earth

and to each we must return.

The sun will shine, the grass will grow

and the valleys in their quiet solitude

whisper our memories

in the hearts of those who stay behind.

Listen…

The dead are everywhere,

but who among us is living?

Apotheosis

To experience the Father

is to open yourself to All

To hear HIS voice in the song of birds

to feel HIS touch in the gentle breeze.

HIS simple splendor exists in every blade of grass

and every grain of sand.

HE is the glory of the rising and setting Sun

and HIS presence is in every breath

and every step.

HIS infinite gaze lies in the eyes of every living creature;

In the courage of a mother’s heart

In the collective soul of creation.

HE is All

in every fragment

Known and unknown

Without and Within

HE IS

as I AM

in You

The Myths of Time

All Myth is but the mist which guards the Mysteries of space and time.

To the seeker it shall yield and reveal an ancient dawn.

The Golden Compass

Life is a series of concentric circles, each one encompassing a sphere of our lives such as family, friends, race, culture, creed as well as our understanding of the circles of others. Each man thus, within the frame of his life, draws around himself a circle who’s circumference encompasses his understanding and he seldom moves beyond it’s borders. This constitutes his potential reality.

Those who attain true success, profound spiritual insight and ultimate happiness are individuals who expand their centre and incorporate all circles into one who’s circumference is no longer visible to the Mind.

It is then that we truly begin to experience the essence of Being and touch the Divine.

My Absolute Truth

There is a corresponding strength to every weakness

and a purpose to our limitations.

My lack of long term concentration,

along with the fear of inadequacy

and not being  able to cope,

have been the driving forces of my obsession

to complete the task at hand

and make a success of every endeavor.

With Gratitude

Kinsmen of the Sun

The horizon of the mind is vast and free. It has many dawns and sunsets, many valleys and vistas, but only the brave will near its mystery, only the young will know its heart.

Free yourself of restricting views, 2nd hand ideas and inherited concepts which have been passed down to you. Delete the unwanted, the conflicting, the dividing, the uncaring disguised, the mechanical, the traditional, the cold reasoning mind of society that demands you cut out your heart & lay waste to your dreams for a productive life.

Explore your heart, explore your mind & the places of mental discomfort where high walls were built to keep you in. There in the lands of the forbidden where so few travel, remove your shoes and touch the earth. There you will find the Path to freedom and see the stars for the very first time.

Allow Truth to reveal itself to you. Allow it in as a guest and it will stay as a companion. Never again will you be alone.

Let go, let go, and this world will become an open road, rather than the extravagant cell which was so carefully prepared for you.

The serenity of Being

STOP FOR A MOMENT. JUST STOP!

Stop your mind, stop your thoughts, stop your issues.

Sometimes the networks of the mind become tangled on the highways of thought & life’s sacredness is blurred.
The world is filled with magic but it doesn’t come to those who look for it. The mystery & wonder of it all is not an external condition but an internal one. We can only experience it in the stillness of Being, in the present moment, and every experience holds a sacred value.

Never allow the past or the future to blind you to the light that exist between and within us all.

Keep your eyes, your ears and your heart open at all times.

Remember, you are a child of the universe just like every other
